Day Hall Plaza 

Located in the heart of central campus, Day Hall serves as the seat of Cornell Universiy’s senior administration. For many years the site of a small, treeless parking lot, this rethinking and landscape renovation provided a comfortable and attractive pedestrian refuge and campus hub, and has proved a lasting and memorable addition to the Cornell campus. Working with Cornell University’s Urban Horticulture Institute, the tree and paving installation was the first public project application of their now patented structural soil mix, CU-Structural Soil ™.
